Lag BaOmer, the 33rd day of the Omer Count is a festive day on the Jewish
calendar, celebrated by children and adults with gatherings, festivities, and other
joyous events.
Many visit the resting place (in Miron in Northern Israel) of the great sage and
mystic Rabbi Shimon bar Yochai, whose yahrzeit (anniversary of his passing) the day marks.
It is also the day in which the students of the Talmudic Sage Rabbi Akiva stopped
dying from a plague.
Each year, Jews from all over the world gather on this day to celebrate Jewish unity.
Burgers • Hotdogs • Soft Drinks • Music • Bouncing Castle • Outdoor Games • Kite Flying • Surprise Activity • Design your own Kite, more is being planned...
